FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
Imagine waking up this morning and discovering burglars had prowled around in your house while you slept.
At least two "hot prowls" took place Tuesday night.
The first in southwest Fresno near Martin Luther King Junior and Jensen Avenue, then a few hours later another house was hit in southeast Fresno near Peach and East Kings Canyon.
One of the hot prowls took place in Aaron Easley's house.
Aaron says he knew something was wrong when he went looking for his wallet and keys, then his phone, and noticed his shoe and cap collection were gone. Aaron then went outside and noticed his 2006 Ford Taurus was stolen.
Aaron Easley says, "I'm very disappointed in people but thankful to God my children and my family are safe. Cars, wallets, things like that can be replaced but thankful I have my family."
Aaron understands times are bad, but says his faith will get him through this bump in the road.
Aaron says he forgives the crooks, and is willing to cook them dinner, if the crooks bring back his car.
