Former Fresno High School and Fresno City College baseball star Sean Halton is back home this week.

Halton is the starting first baseman for the Triple-A Nashville Sounds, in town for a Pacific Coast League series against the Fresno Grizzlies.

Halton has enjoyed a rapid ascent through the Milwaukee Brewers' minor league system, and is having a sensational season.

He currently leads Nashville in home runs, runs batted in, slugging percentage and on base percentage.

In the series opener Wednesday night, Halton delivered an RBI single in the 11th inning of Nashville's 7-5 win over Fresno.
