MERCED, Calif. (KMPH) -
Authorities in the North Valley are investigating a shooting that left a man hurt.
It happened at about 1:30 a.m. Monday near 12th and G streets in Merced.
Merced Police went to that location and found a 24-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was flown to an area hospital and was last listed in stable condition.
Investigators say the shooting may be connected to a home-invasion robbery that happened in the same area about an hour earlier.
So far, no arrests have been made.
