FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
Authorities still do not know who may have started a grass fire in North Fresno and investigators are hoping you can help them find out.
The fire broke out Thursday, July 19th about four in the afternoon, fire investigators say, in a field at Palm along the Nees bluff.
They also say surveillance cameras took photos of what looked like at least two kids on bikes around the time the fire started.
Firefighters say the fire burned up about five acres but could have been much worse due to lots of dry grass and shrubs and homes in the area.
That's exactly what happened 3 years ago, fire officials say, when a fire in the same area caused millions of dollars of damage.
If you have any information on the two in those photos, you're asked to please call the Fresno Fire Department at (559) 621-4440.
