FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
In about three weeks, tickets go on sale for the ninth St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway.
Over the past eight years, more than seven million dollars has been raised for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Because of that amazing generosity, Fresno was named St. Jude Dream Home Campaign of the Year.
Members of the KMPH team and De Young Properties were in Memphis, Tennessee this weekend to accept that prestigious award from St. Jude.
There are more than 30 dream homes given away each year across the country, so to receive this award is a huge honor.
We do this every year for families like the Bordonas of Fresno, the Koelewyns of Hanford and the Burchs of Visalia, and families like them all around the world whose children are alive today because of the life-saving treatment they received at St. Jude.
Tickets for the next St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway go on sale August 17.
We hope you will help us keep Danny Thomas' dream alive, that no child should die in the dawn of life.
