National Day Of The Cowboy Blood Drive: July 28

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

The Central California Blood Center and Evans Feed & Livestock Supply are teaming up to host the National Day of the Cowboy Blood Drive.

It will be held this Saturday, July 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the following locations:

Evans Feed & Livestock Supply
241 South E Street
Madera, CA 93638

Evans Fees & Livestock Supply
79 West Orange Street
Porterville, CA 93257

Jack Hannah, singer/songwriter of The Sons of San Joaquin, is scheduled to be at the Madera location.

In addition, Purina will have special coupon offers at the Madera location, and both Evans Feed locations will feature "blow out" prices to thank fellow donors and customers.

All donors will receive a free T-shirt, and a "buy one ticket & get one free" coupon for the Big Fresno Fair.

Donors must be in good general health, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be at least 17 years old (16 years old with written parent consent). Photo ID and Social Security Number are required at donor registration.
