Who Stole Probation Officer's Gear?

CLOVIS, Calif. (KMPH) -

Clovis Police need help finding out who stole law enforcement gear from a Madera County Probation Officer's car.

Police say sometime between 5:45 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tuesday, the probation officer was at Clovis East High School watching his son during football practice.

During that time, three cars in the parking lot were broken into including the officer's.

He told investigators that a black tactical vest with the words "police" and "gang unit" was stolen, along with two 15-round magazines for a 40-caliber gun, a baton, handcuffs, police radio and pepper spray.
