Missing At-Risk Woman Found Safe In Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Fresno Police say a missing woman, considered at-risk, has been found safe.

Someone saw Maria Lourdes Armendariz, 45, walking in the area of Belmont and Peach just before 1 p.m. Monday, Lt. Burke Farrah said.

She appeared lost, but otherwise unharmed. Paramedics were called in to check on her.

Police say Armendariz hadn't been seen since Saturday morning when she was at her home near Tulare and Willow. They were concerned because she's unfamiliar with her surroundings and had no personal belongings with her.
