FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -
A Clovis father and son, facing a number of marijuana charges, are now facing new charges, for money laundering.
Mark Bagdasarian and his son Ryan were arraigned Monday on eight new counts of money laundering.
Investigators say the Bagdasarians laundered money from their former "Buds 4 Life" marijuana dispensary through an automatic teller machine at their former business site and by buying property with cash in the name of family members and two business partner's children.
Agents raided the business and shut it down last October.
Both men pleaded not guilty in court Monday.
The two already face charges for possessing and conspiring to cultivate and distribute marijuana
The new charges carry a possible maximum sentence of up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
