Rape Investigation In Porterville; Two Teens Arrested

PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KMPH) -

Two Porterville teenagers have been arrested, accused of raping a 13-year-old girl.

Porterville Police say they went to a home on Tomah Avenue near Prospect Street Saturday morning where they found three teenagers who had been drinking alcohol.

Detectives say they interviewed the teens, collected evidence, and determined that two boys -- ages 15 and 17 -- gave a 13-year-old girl alcohol and raped her after she passed out from drinking too much.

The two boys were arrested and booked into the Tulare County Juvenile Detention Facility.

The girl was released to the custody of her mother.
