Two Shot In Huron; Police Say Gangs Involved

HURON, Calif. (KMPH) -

Two people were hospitalized following a gang-related shooting in Huron Friday afternoon, police said.

It happened around 2 p.m. along Myrtle near Lassen Avenue.

Huron Police say a teenager was shot in the right arm and in the back, and a 19-year-old man was shot in the stomach.

Both victims were flown to an area hospital. It's not known how they are doing.

Witnesses say they saw two men take off in a black car.

Investigators say the shooting involved members of two gangs.
