The Tulare County Villainz are about to make their debut as the South Valley's first women's tackle football team.

The Villainz started out as a flag football team, but after going 19-0, they decided to give tackle football a try, complete with helmets and full pads.

The results have been positive. The women say they enjoy the full contact they are experiencing during tackling drills, while admitting they still need to work on technique.

The Villainz play their first tackle football game Saturday in Ventura.
