KINGS COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -
Kings County Sheriff's Deputies have made what they're calling one of the biggest pot busts in the department's history.
At around 7 a.m. Thursday, deputies, Fresno County Sheriff's personnel and federal agents moved in on the grow along Devils Den Road, near the Kings/Kern County line.
Deputies say they found more than 1,200 plants on the property. They say the plants had a street value of well over $1 million.
Two people were taken into custody, including the property owner.
Detectives say they will seek federal charges in this case.
