FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
Several people staying at a motel off the Highway 99-41 interchange in Fresno were forced to look for a new place to stay Friday after fire ripped through several units.
It happened at the City Motel on G Street near Church around 6 p.m.
Firefighters say a tree
caught fire, and the fire jumped onto the motel.
Four of the seven units burned.
Thankfully, no one was hurt.
Fire crews are looking
into reports that homeless people in the area caught the tree on fire that started it all.
