One way or another, former Fresnan Brook Lopez will feel the effect of Deron Williams' new deal with the Brooklyn Nets.
Lopez could be packaged with other players in a potential blockbuster trade to Orlando for superstar center Dwight Howard, although Brooklyn might not be able to afford Howard now without going way over the salary cap and paying a hefty penalty.
If the Nets keep Lopez, they will have to sign him to a contract extension reportedly worth about 50-million.

The seven-foot Lopez has averaged 17 1/2 points and 7 1/2 rebounds per game over his four year NBA career
