FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Three men broke in, beat up and robbed a couple in their north Fresno home then took off in a stolen U-Haul truck early Tuesday morning.

Police say they have found that truck but not the armed robbers who showed up in it.

Police say the home invasion took place just after midnight Tuesday morning at a home on Quincy Avenue in north Fresno.

Police say the three men in masks and dark clothes, and one with a gun, kicked in the front door of the house and pistol whipped one of the two people living there before taking off with whatever they could find.

The homeowner was taken to the hospital, treated and released.

Police say although they found the stolen truck, they have no leads on the robbers who were using it, at this time.
