CLOVIS, Calif. (KMPH) -
A woman in the fight of her life got a lot of loving support from her family and the Clovis community Saturday.
The Guardians of the Ribbon held a celebration for Carolyn Hilton, who is fighting stage four lung cancer.
Carolyn's family organized the celebration, and kept it secret to surprise her.
"I love the world. I love everybody. You know? You just gotta grab it while you've got it. Even when it's hard days, and there are. There really are. But you've just gotta fight through and make it okay," Hilton said.
Carolyn is a fighter and a three-time cancer survivor. She's beaten cervical and breast cancer in the past.
