Gunmen Break In, Beat Up And Rob Fresno Family

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -

A Fresno family is recovering tonight after two gunmen broke in, beat them up and robbed them.

Fresno County Sheriff's deputies say the men broke into a home on East Mono Avenue Wednesday morning.

Deputies arrived to find a 71-year-old man pistol-whipped and two other men -- one in a wheelchair -- pretty shaken up.

The men say the two gunmen knocked on the door then forced their way in.

By the time deputies got there the attackers were gone along with jewelry and some other items.
