An athletic trainer is behind bars, accused of having inappropriate relationships with his high school students.
Dinuba Police arrested Orlando Fabian Mendoza at his Clovis home Tuesday.
Police say they were contacted by Dinuba High School officials after they had learned of inappropriate contact between he and several students.
The department investigated for weeks and filed a report with the Tulare County District Attorney's Office before making the arrest.
Mendoza was booked into the Tulare County Jail where he is facing four counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor.
Mendoza has been working at the high school for the past 11 years. Police believe these acts have been happening for the last five of those years.
Mendoza's bail has been set at $550,000.
He's currently on paid administrative leave.
