
An investigation is underway after a man was found dead in a Selma park.
Shortly after 6 a.m. Tuesday, Selma police officers went to Ringo Park at Mitchell and Nebraska avenues after receiving a call about a possible drunk person.
When they got there, officers said they found a man lying face down in the center of the park. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The body was turned over to the Fresno County Coroner's Office. An autopsy will be performed to determine how the man died.
