MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -

A body found on the side of the road in Madera County last month now has a name.

Madera County Sheriff's investigators say it was the body of Ramon Pablo-Mendoza a homeowner found last month lying in a ditch near Lake and Ellis.

Investigators say Pablo-Mendoza was living in Madera at the time and was apparently hit by a driver who then took off.
