CORCORAN, Calif (KMPH) -
A former executive director of a South Valley YMCA is accused of ripping off her own organization of tens of thousands of dollars.
Corcoran police say they arrested Karen Gomez-Barrera Friday after an investigation turned up nearly $70,000 worth of missing cash, property and suspicious charges on a Corcoran YMCA charge account.
Gomez-Barrera is now scheduled to answer those charges in Kings County Superior Court next week.
