Tacoma based remodeling company adds to its already impressive collection of achievements at the 26th Annual REX Awards of Pierce County

The Master Builders Association (MBA) of Pierce County and Remodelors Counsel (RC) hosted their 26th annual REX Awards gala at the Fircrest Country Club on May 15th where Renewal Remodels & Additions received REX awards for six of the seven categories they were entered in out of twenty-three awards given out that evening. Renewal Remodels & Additions was recognized for their skilled craftsmanship, innovative design and attention to detail in the following categories: Universal Design, Kitchen $30K-$60K, Kitchen $60K-$125K, Additions $75K-150K, Whole House $75K-$150K, and Whole House $150K-300K.

Members of the MBA Remodelors council submitted their best projects that were completed between June 30, 2011 and December 31, 2011. The judges consisted of a panel of distinguished persons from other Washington home building associations, who used their expertise to review the submissions focusing on quality, creativity, workmanship, design and materials.

The MBA is a non-profit trade association that was founded in 1909 by Seattle builders who saw the need to create an organization that allowed local builders to address issues and concerns affecting the housing industry. Since then it has grown and become the largest local homebuilders association in the United States. The MBA of Pierce County is just one of the eight hundred organizations across the United States with more than 1,000 builder and associate member companies. Since the creation they have broadened their purpose by encouraging networking and education, legislative action and most importantly promoting high ethical standards to home builders in Washington.

Receiving an award from the MBA for the tenth year in a row, starting in 2001, is quite the accomplishment and largely attributable to the efforts that Renewal Remodels & Additions makes to awe customers with their skilled craftsmanship, expertise and high quality work.
