Fresno Police are looking for a homeless man accused of killing the man who gave him a place to stay, then kidnapping that same man's wife and abandoning her out in the country.
Investigators believe Donald Anderson killed Michael Wiser at Wiser's home Monday near Nevada and Dewitt in Southeast Fresno.
During a news conference Tuesday, Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer said Wiser Took Anderson in two years ago and took care of him.
Investigators say Anderson held Wiser's wife at knifepoint and demanded money and a ride to get drugs Monday afternoon.
Anderson drove Mrs. Wiser to Selma and dropped her off, where she called police.
Dyer said Anderson is on parole and a registered sex offender.
