Two Inmates Escape From Mendota Prison

MENDOTA, Calif. (KMPH) -

Authorities are looking for two inmates who escaped from the minimum security Satellite Prison Camp in Mendota.

Prison officials say they realized Raymundo Osorio and Francisco Cardenas were missing during an inmate count Monday morning.

Osorio, of Riverside, is described as 5'10" tall, weighing about 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was convicted of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute marijuana.

Cardenas is from San Diego. He is described as 5'5" tall, weighing about 130 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was convicted of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.

Anyone who sees either of these men is asked to call 911 immediately.
