FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
People will soon be able to get their hands on an iPhone without needing a contract.
Starting on June 22, 2012, Cricket Wireless plans to sell the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S on a no-contract plan.
This is the first time the popular phone will be offered with a pre-paid service.
The phones will start at $400 and run about $55 a month with unlimited talk and text. Cricket also offers "unlimited" data, but the wireless company will start slowing speeds once a user hits 2.3 gigabytes in a billing cycle.
