The Fresno State baseball team is getting hot at just the right time. The Bulldogs open NCAA Regional play Friday at Stanford having won 11 of their last 14 games.
A lot of things just started coming together in recent weeks, capped by Fresno State's WAC Tournament title.
This will be the fourth meeting of the year between the teams. The Bulldogs beat Stanford in the opener of a three game series in Fresno during the regular season, then dropped the next two.
The players are anxious for another shot at the Cardinal.
The Bulldogs will bus to the regional Wednesday before working out at Stanford's Sunken Diamond Thursday.
Then they get another shot at the top seeded Cardinal Friday evening at six.
