FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Central High School pitcher Lindsey Clarkson threw a perfect game Friday to help the Grizzlies to a 4-0 victory over Clovis West in the Division I Valley championship game.

The Grizzlies scored all four of their runs in the first inning, keyed by a two run double off the bat of Robin Alvara. Clarkson also had an RBI single in the inning, and then went to work on the mound.

No runs, no hits, no walks, no errors, no base runners for the perfect game.

It was the first Valley championship in the history of Central's softball program.

In Division II, Monache beat Clovis North for the championship, 6-4. Hanford West blanked Ridgeview 4-0 in the Division III title game. Fowler got by Taft 1-0 for the Division IV championship. Liberty Madera Ranchos blanked Selma 10-0 to take the crown in Division V.
