Teens Get Pot Cookies For Graduation, Deputies Say

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -

A graduation present has landed a Lindsay woman in trouble with the law.

Tulare County Sheriff's Deputies say 24-year-old Keisha Sparling gave cookies laced with marijuana to two teenagers.

According to the sheriff's department, one of the teens told deputies they got the pot cookies as a gift.

Investigators say Sparling, who has a medical marijuana card, was arrested for giving marijuana to a minor and child endangerment.

Both teens are expected to be okay.
