A Parlier teenager is in a lot more trouble after police say she faked her own kidnapping to get out of trouble for bad grades.
A friend of 17-year-old Melannie Dominguez told Parlier Police two men attacked them and kidnapped Melannie Monday night.
An Amber Alert went out, and more than a hundred volunteers spent the night looking for her.

Police say Melannie's friend confessed that the girls made up the story and that Melannie was hiding in an abandoned house.
Dominguez could face charges for filing a false police report.
