4-Year-Old Girl Killed In Tulare Crash

TULARE, Calif. (KMPH) -

A child is dead following a crash in Tulare.

It happened just before 8:30 a.m. Monday at Tulare Avenue and E Street.

Tulare Police say a 1998 Lincoln Navigator and a 2002 Chrysler Town and Country crashed at the intersection.

A 4-year-old girl, who was a passenger in the Lincoln Navigator, was taken to an area hospital where she later died.

The 69-year-old driver of the Chrysler van was taken to the hospital. Police believe her injuries are not life-threatening.

The crash is still under investigation.
