Gas Leak In Parlier; Businesses Evacuated

PARLIER, Calif. (KMPH) -

A gas leak forced the evacuation of 50 people from two businesses in Parlier.

It happened around 10 a.m. Monday at an industrial park in the area of Manning and Mendocino.

According to Fresno County Fire Battalion Chief Josh Chrisman, a worker on a tractor hit a four-inch gas line while excavating a hole.

Crews with the gas company were called in to fix the line. It was not immediately known how long the repairs would take.

There were no reports of injuries.
