Fresno Market Burglarized 3 Times; Man Wanted

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Authorities are looking for a man wanted in connection with three burglaries at a Southeast Fresno business.

Fresno Police say 25-year-old Michael Hernandez and another person were seen on surveillance video breaking into the Pacific Asia Market along Kings Canyon near Chestnut on May 2nd and stealing cash, food, beer and cigarettes.

Police believe Hernandez and the other person broke into the market again on May 8th and a third time on May 10th. They say the two entered the store through the roof then took off with merchandise.

Investigators say Hernandez is suspected in several other burglaries in the area. They say he is a gang member who is also wanted for a felony probation violation involving the possession of drugs.

Anyone with information about Hernandez is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP. A $1,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
