•         High school All-State honors
•         High school, US Lacrosse and/or Under Armour All-American honors
•         US Lacrosse regional team member
•         Participation at national and regional events, including:

o    Champ Camp
o    Texas Top 99
o    Hot Beds Tournament
o    NE Elite 180

Division I Mid to Lower Level Candidate Stats

•         High school All-State honors
•         High school All-Region, Conference and/or Sectional honors
•         Club experience is strongly preferred
•         Participation at national and regional events, including:

Attackmen

•     Average height: 5’7? – 6’1?
•     Excellent scoring ability
•     Strong, accurate shot
•     Agility both with and without the ball
•     Intelligent shot selection
•     Strong passing ability
•     Good field vision
•     Good stick handling ability

Midfielders

•     Average Height: 5’10? – 6’2?
•     Scoring ability
•     Passing Ability
•     Short-stick handling ability
•     Long-stick handling ability
•     Good speed and agility

Defensemen / Longstick-Midfield

•     Average Height: 5’10? – 6’3?
•     Skilled with take-aways
•     Skilled with ground balls
•     Strong checking ability
•     Skilled at passing
•     Skilled at clearing
•     Good speed, size and strength

Goalie

•     Average Height: 5’9? – 6’3?
•     Good reaction time
•     Good stick-handling
•     Excellent body positioning
•     Strong clearing ability
•     Ability to play angles
•     Ability to defend shots

Preferred Grades for Division I Men's Lacrosse Recruits

•         3.0 GPA
•         ACT score of 24 or higher
•         SAT score of 1100+ out of a possible 1600
