FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Fresno Police have arrested a man they say robbed a Northeast Fresno business.

Detectives say 20-year-old Andrew Shipman robbed California Budget Finance on Blackstone and Clinton Avenues last month.

Police say the man showed the clerk a demand note and held a gun in his hand.

Fearing for her safety, the employee complied and the suspect left with $2,700.

On Monday, plain-clothes officers of the Violent Crime Impact Team arrested Shipman at his home in Central Fresno.

Shipman was booked into the Fresno County Jail for one count of robbery.
