
The Fresno Grizzlies scored three runs in the eighth inning and three more in the ninth Wednesday night for a thrilling 8-7 victory over Iowa.
The visiting Cubs had taken a 7-2 lead with a six run rally in the top of the eighth inning before the Grizzlies roared back. Todd Linden capped the comeback with a two run double in the bottom of the ninth, ending Fresno's two game losing streak.
The Grizzlies improve to 24-9, the best record in the Pacific Coast League.
