FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

The Fresno Grizzlies took their lumps Tuesday night, opening a Pacific Coast League homestand with a 13-2 loss to the Iowa Cubs.

It was a rough night for Fresno's starting pitcher Eric Hacker. He entered the game with a record of 5-0. But Hacker was knocked out of the game in the fifth inning after giving up nine earned runs on nine hits.

Iowa's Anthony Rizzo homered twice and drove in six runs. Josh Vitters had three hits and four RBI for the Cubs.

Roger Kieschnick hit his eighth home run of the season for Fresno while Justin Christian hit his fourth.

The Grizzlies still own the best record in the PCL, now 23-9.
