SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say they've found a vehicle that may be connected to the abduction of a Northern California teenager who's been missing for nearly two months.
The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department was looking for a 1990s red Volkswagen Jetta that was seen on surveillance videos around the area where they believe 15-year-old Sierra LaMar was kidnapped on March 16.
Sgt. Jose Cardoza said Tuesday authorities now have the vehicle. He wouldn't say when or where they found it, or if authorities have any leads on whose car it is.
Investigators believe Sierra was kidnapped while walking to a bus stop near her Morgan Hill home.
Cardoza says investigators are looking for anyone who saw the car in the area or knows the person who was driving it.
