Child Molestation: Exeter Police Chaplain Accused

EXETER, Calif. (KMPH) -

A volunteer chaplain with the Exeter Police Department has been arrested, accused of sexually abusing a girl.

62-year-old Alton Dorrough was taken into custody Monday and booked into the Tulare County Jail.

Tulare County Sheriff's Detectives say the girl went to Exeter Police and told them Dorrough sexually abused her for several years.

Dorrough faces multiple child molestation charges. He is being held on more than $1 million bail.
