FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
A team of thieves is behind bars, Fresno Police say, caught red-handed stripping stolen trucks.
Police say they got a tip Thursday afternoon about something suspicious going on at a farm near McKinley and Grantland in West Fresno.
When they got there, police say they saw four men and a woman busily stripping parts and moving them from one big rig to another.
Investigators arrested the group after confirming that a big rig trailer and a tractor were all stolen.
Police say all of the people arrested are now facing charges for operating a chop shop. They say the people living at the farm were not involved.
