FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
A Fresno store clerk is still missing an expensive gold necklace
after police say a brazen thief ripped it right off her neck Monday morning.
It happened at the Get N Go Market on Peach, just south of Highway 180, in Southeast Fresno.
Fresno Police released surveillance video shot inside the store.
The video shows a customer picking out a candy bar, looking around, then jerking the $800 necklace from around the clerk's neck.
Investigators believe 22-year-old Gerald Kane is the man who snatched the necklace. He was arrested Tuesday morning.
Police say Kane is a known gang member and a wanted parolee.
