The New Orleans Saints are denying a report general manager Mickey Loomis had his suite at the Superdome wired so he could listen in on the conversations of the opposing team's coaches during NFL games.
ESPN cited an anonymous source for the story, adding the practice went on for three years before the system was dismantled because of damage caused by Hurricane Katrina.
Loomis, already under suspension for the Saints' bounty scandal, could face more sanctions, not to mention the fact wiretapping is a federal offense.
The Saints are so convinced the story is false they are considering legal action.
