FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
Japanese scientists may be a step closer to finding a cure for baldness.
Researchers at Tokyo University of Science say they've succeeded in growing hair on bald mice.
They did it by extracting two types of cells from hair follicles in adult mice and transplanting them into the skin of naturally bald mice where they grew new hair and whiskers.
Scientists say they hope to be able to do the same thing with people within the next ten years.
