
The Valley's last unbeaten high school baseball team, Fresno Christian, finally lost on Tuesday, falling at Caruthers, 8-7.
The Eagles got off to a fast start, scoring five runs in the top of the first inning.
But the Blue Raiders came roaring back in the bottom of the second inning, when they put seven runs on the board.
Fresno Christian rallied to tie the game at 7-7, only to have Caruthers push across the deciding run in the bottom of the sixth inning.
The Eagles are 6-1-1, while the Blue Raiders are 9-5-1.
