CLOVIS, Calif. (KMPH) -

A man was found shot to death in the middle of a Clovis street last year, and now police say they've caught the person suspected of killing him.

20-year-old Tyrone Parker, of Fresno, is sitting behind bars facing murder charges. Clovis Police believe he shot and killed his brother-in-law, 33-year-old Dewayne Young, on March 20, 2011.

Investigators say there was a family gathering at a home in the 3000 block of Ezie, when Young and his wife -- Parker's sister -- were involved in some sort of argument. They say witnesses saw Parker pull out a gun and shoot Young.

Clovis Police issued an arrest warrant for Parker. He was arrested by Salinas Police after trying to resolve a ticket issue.

Parker was later transferred to the Fresno County Jail where he is being held without bail.
