Anxious to put last year's 4-9 record behind them, the Bulldogs are anxious to start spring football practice.

Running back Robbie Rouse is looking forward to learning the new spread offense of first year head coach Tim DeRuyter. Rouse admits practicing Fresno State's old offensive scheme did become boring at times and adds the changes coming with the spread are making things interesting and exciting.

Quarterback Derek Carr is also ready to go, saying he will give it everything he has, as always.

Carr adds he expects the Bulldogs to win more games in 2012 than they did in 2011.

Spring practice begins in March.
