KMPH News Confronts Accused Animal Abuser

Posted:
MADERA, Calif. (KMPH) -

Enough is enough! People in Madera want to know why nothing seems to happen to those caught abusing animals.

You may remember this poodle, Clover. He was nearly decapitated by a plastic rope he was tied to in a backyard.

Animal control rescued Clover before Christmas, but he died days later.

Now KMPH news has learned Clover's owner was accused of animal abuse in 2009, and in 2010 a warrant was issued for her arrest. But nothing came of it.

Fast forward to this year, and Clover was found in her backyard. Now people in Madera want answers.
