The cooler weather is now upon us, and that means time to break out your cold weather recipes!
Great Day is here to help you turn the ovens on and heat up the home this fall with some famous recipes around town.
On Tuesday's Great Day Chef Jesse Villicana from Cool Hand Luke's was live on the show to cook up a prime rib, fancy green beans and sauteed mushrooms in the Great Day Kitchen.
Cool Hand Luke's is located at 955 East Shaw Ave in Clovis. Other locations can be found at 1830 West Cleveland in Madera, 475 West Olive Ave. in Merced and 1470 Cherry Court in Tulare.
Here are Chef Villicana's recipe's for those who wish to make them at home:
Luke's Prime Rib Procedure
Season outside of roast with Luke's seasoning until completely covered. Then slow roast in pre-set prime rib oven for 12 hours at 160 degrees.
Luke's Fancy Green Beans
1 lb fresh green beans
½ cup diced yellow onion
¼ cup diced cooked bacon bits
4 oz teriyaki sauce
Steam green beans on flat top grill. Sauté diced yellow onion and bacon bits in mushroom butter and then combine green beans with onion bacon and add teriyaki.
Luke's Sautéed Mushrooms
1 cup Sliced Button Mushrooms.
Sauté in:
2 tbls Butter
1 tsp Minced Garlic
2 tbls Chablis
Juice of ½ lemon
Sauté mushrooms with all ingredients for approx 3 mins.
