
Rock/Pop band "The Councilmen" were live on Great Day Friday to get the whole studio rockin'.
The Bakersfield group played throughout the show in Studio B to promote their upcoming performance this Saturday night at "Audie's Olympic/Club Fred at 9 p.m.
The venue is located at 1426 N Van Ness Ave in Fresno's Tower District. Tickets to the show cost $10.
The group consists of 24-year-old Keaton York on the guitar/lead vox, 21-year-old Julian Sanchez on the bass/vox, 21-year-old Taylor Haley on the drums and 24-year-old Kyle Appleton, 24 playing lead guitar and serving as the bands producer.
The band formed back in the summer of 2007, after the guys grew up together in Bakersfield as friends and fellow musicians.
