University High School Teacher Arrested On Molestation Charges

KMPH News has learned that a Valley High School teacher has been arrested on molestation charges.

 Jon Malcolm, who teaches at  University High School ,(which is located on the Fresno State University Campus) was arrested on charges related to lewd material and annoying/molesting a minor.  Malcolm is said to have taught a music class on the campus.

The investigation apparently began on Tuesday, when the University Police Department was contacted by the head of the high school, Dr. James Bushman, in regards to a potential relationship between a student and faculty member.

An investigation on the issue, lead officers to Malcolm, who was arrested on Wednesday without incident. Officers say that Malcolm has cooperated throughout the investigation, and the case remains open.
